Introduction

Welcome to Exp[licit]-robotics! Our software can be used to model and simulate a variety of robots. The algorithms behind the software are based on the Differential Geometric concept, called Product of Exponentials Formula.

The software is created and maintained by Moses C. Nah and Johannes Lachner, two researchers from the Newman Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Currently, a stable version of Exp[licit]-MATLAB is available. Prototype versions of Exp[licit]-C++, and Exp[licit]-FRI are also available and can be installed from our Github repository. Exp[licit]-py will be published soon.
